Look And Tell Me

13 year old Palestinian girl, Waad Tamimi, confronts Israeli terrorist soldiers.

Look at the determination in this young Palestinian girl's eyes,
Look at her clinched fist of rage,
Look at her brave,
Look at her fortitude, courage and strength,
Look at her grit, perseverance and bravery,
Look at the lack of fear that she exhibits,
Then tell me whether she can be your child,
Tell me if you are proud,
Tell me if within your comforts you realize,
Tell me if you realize the human element,
Tell me if you understand the occupation,
Tell me if you understand the dehumanization of a people,
Tell me if you know that Israeli soldiers are terrorists,
Then tell me if you are doing anything about what you know

  1. I think everyone in the world can connect with the emotions of this child! There is a bully and there is a victim. Awareness and persistent truth are so important to bring light to an unjust situation. We must never forget. Thank you Fadi.

    1. Thank you Minal for the kind words and I am sorry that I did not respond sooner but I just realized that you had made a comment. You are right by saying "Awareness and persistent truth are so important to bring light to an unjust situation. We must never forget." I only do my part as a Palestinian and believe that every Palestinian needs to do his/her part; to use the God given talent, in any form, to "bring light" to our just cause. I have a talent for writing and speaking, I use that talent accordingly. Other Palestinians may have other talents, i.e. raising funds to help the orphans of Palestinian, for which they should use to help our People in Palestine. Again thank you for the kind words.
